Job Context

• Function Designation: Officer
• Position-Corporate Designation: Officer
• Officer – Reporting Unit: This position is primarily responsible for reporting of Foreign Exchange Transactions to Bangladesh Bank by using the online reporting portal and preparation of different types of periodical statements and monthly returns timely and correctly
• Location: Dhaka (Centralized Trade Processing Center)

Job Responsibilities

• To prepare IMP Forms and reporting of the particulars of the same to Bangladesh Bank through Online Import Monitoring System correctly within the given time line.
• To prepare TM Forms for payment of freight and other bank charges against Import bills and reporting of particulars of the same to Bangladesh Bank through online import monitoring system timely and correctly.
• Preparation of Bangladesh Bank Returns against Foreign Exchange transactions and submission of the same within the given time limit in a correct manner.
• Preparation of different types of periodical statements on Foreign Exchange Transactions and submission of the same to the stakeholders in a timely manner without any error.
• To maintain strong relationship with the stakeholders including Relationship Manager, International Division and regulatory bodies for resolution of day to day issues.
• Record keeping

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 35 years
• Minimum 3 years Banking experience in the Foreign Exchange Department including LC opening. Prior experience in the centralized trade processing center will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge on GFET, UCP, ISBP, Import and Export Policy Order, Incoterms, SWIFT arena etc.
• Proactive and result driven.
• Has sense of ownership
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill (both verbal & written)
• Sound knowledge in MS Office
• Ability to drive and manage interaction with clients and business units
• Multi tasking ability
